As the founder of Breathe Colorado, I bring 20 years of clinical experience in dentistry together with advanced training in respiratory psychophysiology, fascia neurobiology, and TACFIT performance recovery. My work bridges neuro-craniofacial sleep medicine with human performance optimization, giving me a unique lens to identify how airway health, stress, and movement patterns shape both physiology and psychology.

In practice, I use capnometry, HRV biofeedback, and movement-based interventions to help clients restructure maladaptive breathing patterns, improve recovery, and build long-term cognitive and physical resilience. I believe that when we improve how people breathe, we also enhance how they think, feel, connect, and perform.

Currently, I'm expanding this work through my Master's studies in Human Performance Optimization at Buckinghamshire New University. My focus is on integrating science, clinical practice, and real-world training to help individuals and teams thrive under pressure — whether in healthcare, sport, or high-performance environments.

I enjoy collaborating across disciplines and contributing to the growing conversation about how breathing, sleep, and stress resiliency shape human potential.

The practice

Why Breathe Colorado exists.

Breathe Colorado was created for people who want to understand how their airway and breathing habits may be impacting their health and well-being. Here, you'll find resources and education on foundational airway wellness, along with a practice space to explore your own breathing physiology.

I'll teach you how to recognize the signs of sleep-disordered breathing and how daily habits influence your breathing, sleep quality, and energy. Together, we can coordinate your care with your health and dental providers to ensure you're supported from every angle.

My goal is to give you practical tools that build resiliency, increase energy, and reduce pain and discomfort — so you feel equipped to take on more in life. I look forward to hearing your story and helping you create a clear path toward your wellness goals.

My story

How I found this work.

Like many healthcare providers, I was stunned to learn how airway issues and dysfunctional breathing habits impact our health. The American Dental Association recently released a statement asking dental providers to recognize, document and refer patients who show signs of airway obstruction and sleep disordered breathing. Breathe Colorado is my attempt and contribution to aiding in that mission and supporting the health and dental community.

I don't believe a cure or solution lies in one treatment. I believe it comes from a multitude of shifts in our lifestyle and a team of support to guide the body into optimal wellness. In my personal search for health, I was lucky to have found many modalities and skilled providers that helped me along my way. Each one creating a few degrees of change.

I managed severe chronic pain and fatigue since I was a teenager, and sought care from every traditional specialty and alternative practitioner in hopes of finding a resolution. After nearly 20 years, I came to understand my own history — extracted permanent teeth, narrow jaws, a restricted tongue and a long-standing dysfunctional breathing habit — and slowly worked through it with orofacial myofunctional therapy, educational capnography, bodywork, a tongue-tie release, HeartMath training, nutrition, yoga and meditation.

I have observed steady gains in my overall health and wellness since implementing these tools. I'm excited to report that I am now capable of being active, and able to fully enjoy the benefits of living in Colorado — camping, hiking, skiing, swing dancing, and making pottery.

Breathe easy. Be well.
